Eleven Past Senior Captains played today with Steve Ling joining us for the meal. Steve is still recovering from a bad bout of Covid-19 and slowly recovering. 

We played in seniority order with John King who was Vets Captain 20 years ago leading us off. 

The competition was won on countback by Norman Davidson with 37 points to Bob Filer who came second. Alan Line came third with a streaky/solid 34. Bob Filer won nearest the pin on the Gainsborough 7th with a fine shot. 

The weather was fine if a bit breezy at times. 

After the meal we all took time to look and have a photo on the new Seniors bench which was admired by all. 

Our away day will be at Felixstowe on Friday 30th September details to follow nearer the time.
