An excellent days golf on the Gainsborough course despite pretty unpleasant weather which varied from rain to wind which made scoring difficult - at least that’s our excuse !

12 past SbN Senior Captains together with the current Captain very much enjoyed each others company - it was also good to meet up again with John King who, in his 91st year is still very capable of playing 18 holes.

Victory today to the evergreen Steve Ling who, with 32 points, edged out Sir Bob on countback.

Many thanks to Norman Davidson, this years organiser, who made all of the excellent arrangements - the doughnuts at the halfway hut went down very well ! Thanks Norman.
