54 entrants in todays Veterans Cup, a club organised competition open to all members over the age of 60.

Played on a very overcast day with a tricky wind but, fortunately, no sign of any rain. The competition played on a Gainsborough course in very good condition and with the ball running extremely well on particularly hard fairways.

The conditions were clearly very attractive to Reg Reid with an excellent 42 points, 3 ahead of club member John Bibby and 4 shots ahead of Seniors member, Martin Brown.

Well done Reg - a great result.

Only 1 birdie on a par 3 - well done Mark Clark on the 3rd 🥉 Even more remarkable though was an eagle 2 on the par 4 12th by Colin Dallas who drove the green and a single putt - excellent Colin. 🏆
