Poor support for todays completion with only 14 pairs - why should this be the case? Any thoughts please to our C or VC - has this particular competition outstayed its welcome or was today just “one of those things”?

Whatever is the case the 14 pairs set off on a Gainsborough course which has suffered in recent weeks following some unusual weather conditions, Dollar Spot and todays clearance of the considerable pile of leaves, particularly on the 2nd. We wonder how many balls ended up somewhere in the pile? Not as a result of the clearance efforts but mainly as a result of some appalling shots - as was the case in our 4 Ball !!

Congratulations to the Brian Willsher / Peter Jay pairing who returned with a highly creditable 40 points - well done to both.

Amongst todays leaders was Richard Allen, a recent SbN Mens Captain making his maiden appearance in a Seniors competition - welcome on board Richard.
