After several days of what seemed like constant rain the Gainsborough course seemed in very good condition, a bit boggy in places but, on the whole, playing very well. It was great to hear that the recent  reappearance of Dollar Spot was very quickly attended to and, whilst we did not go looking for any problems, no issues were spotted - great news.

On the whole the weather was kind to us - just occasional extremely heavy showers, just about long enough to get wet weather gear on before the sun came out again. Autumn seems to have arrived !!

If your name was towards the top of the results list the format suited you a dream, if towards the bottom - just a little challenging.

Sir Bob did remarkably well in the club issued results competing in both the 2nd and 3rd placed teams - well done Sir Bob -that takes special skill.

Congratulations to the winning team of Tony C and Richard M with a highly creditable 42 points - a great result.
