A strange morning with a number of players failing to arrive for various reasons - it did make a 4 BBB competition being played under Hambro rules a tad distorted with single players having to go out and do their best with one hand tied behind their back.

 

The mornings comp ended with yet another victory to the team from Essex by 20 holes - a comfortable victory. The star performance was from the team of Dick Lumsden and Graham Cork who returned to the clubhouse 11 holes up
