Mike Moore was more than just a member; he was a friend, a mentor, and a source of inspiration for many. His dedication to the Seniors section and his passion for the game left an indelible mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. The competition was a fitting tribute, capturing the essence of camaraderie and sportsmanship that Mike so cherished. 45 members took to the Gainsborough course on a cloudy and, on occasions, chilly day – but everyone wishing to play the competition in memory of Mike.
Leading scores ………

Whilst the honours of the day go to the Willsher team the rules of the competition made it clear that every member of the team must have 12 qualifying cards in the past 12 months – unfortunately this wasn’t the case with Team Willsher and so the Mike Moore trophy was presented to Team Jackson.
Glen Jackson and Ian McKay with Seniors Captain, Kevin Price
