A Player must have 12 qualifying scores listed on their playing record in the last 12 months prior to the competition, to win a prize,3 of which must have been Senior’s section competitions.

Top ten gross and nett players plus ties or players within 10 shots of the leader in both gross and net competitions will go forward to the 2nd round. The 2nd round starting times to be in reverse order (gross scores) so leaders go off last - with the 1st tee prioritised for the leaders.

38 participants in todays first round of the Seniors Championship held on the Gainsborough course. A medal competition, played off the white tees. Congratulations to Tony Carman who takes a 4 shot lead into the 2nd round next Wednesday in the net competition and to Ian McKay with a slender 1 shot lead in the gross competition.

We would hope that tee times for the 2nd round will be available very shortly.
