46 players in todays Monthly Stableford and the Millenium Trophy (competed for by all Stableford winners during the past 12 months) on a Gainsborough course which surely hasn’t been in better condition. Clear blue skies, lovely October temperature and little wind to add a bit of interest. Leaves are now starting to fall - added more than a little fun and games on the 5th with green staff blowing them into the middle of the fairway - looking for a ball in so many leaves would be a challenge - but the leaves were in the middle of the fairway - not somewhere that every member was privileged to visit !!

Considering the conditions, scoring was strangely disappointing with only 1 player playing below his handicap.

Congratulations to our Captain, KP, winner of both today’s Stableford Div 1 & the Millennium Trophy. Also to Stuart Lawson, winner of Div 2 and the only player to beat handicap. Finall Alan Finlayson on winning the Nearest The Pin challenge on the 7th hole. 👏👏👏
