A reasonable turnout for the club competition, The Veterans Cup. This competition is open to all male club members over the ager of 60 on the date of the competition. 
Those Seniors who played the day before in the Inter Club match @ Haverhill had the first challenge of the day in trying to dry our everything from a particularly wet day - no problems today with fine weather and fairways that have certainly benefitted from the recent rain.

Despite reasonably good conditions it was surprising that, after the first 20 scores were submitted, the highest score recorded was a disappointing 29 points. Things did improve and victory today goes to our own Captain, Kevin Price, with a particularly steady 40 points - well done Kevin.
