Congratulations to Peter Garnett who defeated Ray Ludlam in the final of the Allen Smith Trophy - the Seniors Summer Singles by a single hole.

The match on the Gainsborough course could not have been closer with neither player managing to open up more than a 1 hole advantage. Ray was receiving a 7 shot advantage and used this well, winning all apart from one of these holes.

Both Peter & Ray arrived at the 18th All Square - Peters tee shot was just off the green but this was one hole too many for Ray who managed to find the water before conceding the hole - a very unfortunate way for a very close match to finish.
