Inter Club Match v Felixstowe - Away - 10th June

                                           FELIXSTOWE             5           SbN              3

On arrival the golf club we were greeted with tea / coffee and a bacon roll to fortify ourselves against what was to come.

To say it was wind was an understatement . To say it was raining lightly was an under statement. ( Our captain complained after the game that the rain hurt his youth like soft skin )  To say we were all looking forward to going out to play golf was also a understatement .To say the rough was cut , was a complete and utter lie.

MATCH 8    Mr Jay / Mr Seymour   ( AKA Jasie &  Dave )

Fortunately the rain stopped ,the wind continued and the sun showed up for a little while.

Fish and chips on the menu ,all very nice. We lost the contest 5-3

We also donated  75 quid's worth of balls to the Felixstowe rough .Hope we find them on our next visit.

Many thanks to Tony C (Old Misery) for reporting on today’s fun and games (????) @ Felixstowe.
