An excellent days golf to support our Captain’s Charity The Brain Tumour Charity. Just over 70 players took to a Gainsborough course in superb condition and sat down to a meal in the Gallery Bar where Claire Howell, from the Charity, spoke to us about the work being undertaken and the challenges that they face in raising funds to continue their research.

Considerable work had been undertaken by Pete to arrange a wide range of 4 balls & other attractive auction items which raised an excellent £1995. As a result of a well supported draw and a second draw for a tour bag a total of £3731 was raised on the day towards Pete’s efforts.
