Some very sad news that Dave Ferdinand (Ferdy) passed away earlier this week.

 

Ferdy was Seniors Captain 2011 / 2012 and shortly afterwards switched his membership to Newton Green to enable him to continue his enjoyment of golf without the SbN hills. He hasn’t enjoyed the best of health for a number of years.

 

Ferdy’s funeral is being held on Friday 3rd February, 11:30 at the 3 Counties Crematorium, Braintree, CM7 5PB

 

Although Ferdie’s visits to SbN have been intermittent he will be very much missed.
