Monthly Stableford - Gainsborough - 4th January
59 players in todays first competition of 2023 on a Gainsborough course which has taken a lot of rain in the last few weeks. Scoring was difficult but Allen Smith continued his fine form from last year returning a splendid 40 points, 4 birdies & 6 pars - that'll mess the WHI up Allen !! In Division 2 a great performance by Mike Clare with an excellent 39 points, edging out Norman Davidson - 38 points.
10 players managed to birdie one of the par 3 holes with John Smith achieving 2's on both the 3rd and 7th on his way to a very solid 36 points.
