ALLEN SMITH DECEASED

How sad it is to report on the passing of our wonderful friend Allen Smith after an illness that he has been fighting for a number of years.

He was a most loved and valued member of the club and was one of life’s “good guys”.

We can no better than copy some of the comments made since we were advised of this sad news.....

     "Knocked me sideways when told this news. A really lovely person that put so much into the section. Your suffering is over sir - may you Rest In Peace"

     "Lovely man .... enjoyed his company both on and off the course .... RIP Allen"

Allen will be such a loss to the club and to us as individuals.

Allen's funeral will take place at Seven Hills Crematorium, Ipswich, IP10 0FG at 10:30 on the 7th October. Dress code - smart and colourful, no black, no jeans.
