As many of you will already know, we were saddened to hear of the death of Cynthia Simpson, beloved wife of one of Stoke by Nayland's original members - John Simpson.
John and Cynthia have been a fixture at Stoke by Nayland for 50 years and her death is a great loss to John personally and to all who knew her.
John has been overwhelmed by the support he has received, including messages and cards.
He would like everyone to know that Cynthia's funeral will be held at Colchester Crematorium at 3.15pm on Wednesday April 16 and all are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
